It was a breeze. Tak rasa macam hantar first day pun. He was all excited. We sent him off kat class and dia terus je amik seat and played with the legos on the table with the other boys. I had a chat with one his teachers about the books, schedule and whatnots. Pastu terus kami keluar class. Tiba2 rasa macam eh cepat la pulak. Lepak la kejap luar class tengok dia (and of course amik gambar). I actually enjoyed watching other kids yang bermasalah nak bye bye their parents. Ada yang peluk bapak dia macam nak rak. Ada yang mencangkung luar class tak nak masuk. Jenuh mak bapak memujuk. I’m so glad I don’t have to go through all that with IY. I don’t know if I had enough patience to layan kerenah separation anxiety macam tu. Silap2 dengan mama ni menangis sekali.
IY’s class has 19 kids altogether. 20 pax capacity with 2 teachers at all times. I met my highschool friend Rafidah who is also a teacher there (different class though). I’m kinda happy to see her there. There’s this peace of mind feeling seeing a friend in your kid’s school. Macam Taska Dahlia. My highschool friend Najua runs the centre. Alhamdulillah, I’m THAT lucky.
Layan pictures of my big independent boy going to his new school.
We picked him up at 1 and of course mulut berceloteh bercerita dari A sampai Z and patah balik A sampai Z. Looks like he’s enjoying his new school. Alhamdulillah.
