Yup!! That’s where we went spending our first few days of Aidilfitri. Us the whole family. My dad, mom and siblings too. After spending Raya eve and Raya morning at the inlaws’s, we headed to Sepang for a beach getaway.
I love the breezy sea view. Ahh picturesque!
We shared our 2 bedroom villa with my bro and wifey. The villa was oh so nice!
It was quite a distance from the rooms to the main lobby. We had to walk to the buggy point. Sometimes the Q to the ride sangat panjang so we walked some more. Alternatively, they have bicycles merata-rata for us to kayuh sendiri. I carried IY bonceng kat belakang and Gee dukung Z on his bicycle. It was fun! Penat. But seronok.
The kids centre was fun too..tapi sayangnye a bit too far from the main building. Jauh gak kena jalan. Masuk second time macam malas je nak menapak sampai sana.
Z gayat naik hammock ni. Gee was teasing him hayun-hayun buai tu. “akut mama akut (takut)”. Lol!
The private beach has got so many activities for the guests. That’s IY looking at the sand art piece to work on. Layan dia kejap siapkan satu artwork while Gee and Z main air kat beach. Ada henna and batik painting too. On the right side there’s the giant balloon castle. Yang ni pun Z gayat sebab besar sangat.
Weehoo! My first go-kart experience. IY kata “mama bawak slow laa..kenapa tak laju macam ayah?”. He was with Gee before me. They let kids with certain height limit to ride with an adult. Cool!
Gee and my siblings went on the ATV ride masuk hutan dalam tu. They said best gile! Mommy on the other hand kena lepak tepi jaga anak. Takpe..takpe…mommy tak kisah..takut pun sebenarnya! My bro, Adam (the one in orange belakang sekali) siap tergolek jatuh from the bike! Sampai lebam tangan. But he had fun nevertheless.
While waiting..IY had a few rounds of paintballs shooting. Ya Allah suka nye dia! Nak lagi dan lagi!
Last but not least, what’s a beach retreat without a picture of a sunset. SubhanaAllah..I could watch this forever.
Overall, the place was nice but it could’ve been better if not of the Raya season. All the seafood eateries were closed in Bagan Lalang. Duh! So we had to rely on the in-house hotel food which was nothing to shout about. Oh well, asalkan tidak kebuluran.
The staff and management of the hotel can improve better I supposed. Perhaps they were just overwhelmed with the crowd. Somehow macam tak cukup tangan je. Anyways, I heard from the spa staff that there will be a major refurbishment soon. A major overhaul with the new management. Even the name will be changed. So let’s hope it’s worth it. Coz the place has so much potential so much to offer. I would definitely love to revisit. Afterall, I’m a sucker when it comes to beach, sea and sunset.
