Sold!

Our Laville house has finally found a new owner. Phew! It was a long search I tell you!

The house has been in the market for more than a year now. Many agents and potential buyers come and go, they loved it but most of them didn’t like the POSITION of the house. Specifically because it’s located in front of a T-junction. Bad feng shui they say. I couldn’t get a non-Chinese buyer coz it’s a Chinese majority housing area. According to our agents, most of the buyers loved the house, loved the area but looking at the junction terus tak jadi. Fuhh hebat betul penangan feng shui ni rupanya.

I had a few funny buyers yang jenis tak kisah fengshui, tapi when they come for the second or third visits with the family, the elderly don’t approve. Sebab tak ong! Haihh back to square one.

Well, I don’t believe in feng shui (obviously!) but I have faith in rezeki and the power of doa. We waited patiently and never stop praying that when the time comes, it will. Just wait.

And the wait has ended. Syukur Alhamdulillah.

So, where shall the next investment be? Another property, perhaps? I’m kinda getting the hang of this realty business. Macam best pulak! Teehee!

Our house is on sale

We decided to let go of the house now. Looking at the market prospect, it might not pick up as we hoped for. So better sell it now.

Entries on our house here and here and here.

Anyways, our agent is looking into the selling process. Sila contact dia jika berminat ya. You may call him and ask to go view the house.

Semoga rezeki kami murah. Bismillah.

The house is ready

We bought this house last year. And now it is ready. Went for the keys handover and we were very much excited to see the completed unit.

Persoalannya, are we moving in? Jawapannye, maybe not.

I see the house as an investment now. Why the change of mind? Entah. Just woke up one day and decided, let’s sell it. But not now. We are waiting for the right price and right time. Playing the wait and see game now.

Tapi layan je la pictures kan..mana tau I have a prospect buyer reading my blog. Who knows? Email me ;)!

The show unit

It was an unplanned event when we went to see the unit. Mula-mula nak survey area dulu. Konon fikir kalau sesat barat tak jumpa pun at least we’ll land at Jusco Cheras Selatan . It mentioned in the ad that the nearest mall is JJ and it’s neighbouring to BTHO.There’s also a newly built Columbia Asia Medical Centre right beside the JJ. Tapi hospital tu belum bukak pun lagi. Then pusing2 area tu and we found Laville.

Little did we know there was a launching segala masa tu. Siap balloons, music and buffet of food lagi. The show unit was a 3 storey corner unit. Ours is an intermediary double storey unit, so it will be much smaller than the pictures shown below.

OMG!

Look at what he’s done to the wall!

IY's little "artwork"

After all the training of NOT to touch the wall when he has crayon in his hand and after all the drawing blocks and papers lying around the house…dinding mama jugak nak dijadikan mangsa!

Ayah, does this qualify for a wallpaper?*kelip kelip mata*

Green thumb

Errr…not me.

That explains why our backyard does not look like a backyard.  It looks more like a mini hutan belantara.

The mini jungle

We finally decided that our mini tropical forest needs a makeover. Alhamdulillah, bulan lepas rezeki agak murah so we put aside a budget for the garden.

We tried to find quotations that could meet our requirement and budget. We wanted something simple and tidy. Just green green grass. Nothing fancy. No plants whatsoever. Karang takut pokok-pokok itu RIP je nanti. Furthermore, our backyard doesn’t have enough access to direct sunlight. So we couldn’t grow anything that needs extra TLC. I was imagining the place to be lapang enough for IY to play a little kick ball with Gee. Or I can line dry my laundry yang manja-manja tak boleh kena matahari.

Since our budget was small, most nurseries kinda bo-layan us. Upon hearing our RM requirement, macam nak-tak-nak je. Buat appointment pun tak datang. Penat je tunggu. Ada yang datang, had a look of the lawn but silent after that.

Then I was bloghopping the other day and stumbled upon Sigma Nusantara. I managed to contact them and Nana, the owner was so nice enough to entertain us and dropping by our mini forest humble home. I’m happy that she and her team didn’t pester us to tanam itu ini nor they pushed us away upon hearing our budget.

The cleaning up process

Sigma N scheduled their work to be done in 2 days, but in the end they managed to complete in 4 hours je. Impressive eh? Another good news is, they have a 1 month warranty period (provided we must water the grass accordingly). Nana can be contacted at 013-2789442.

Planting new grass

Tadaa!!

I’m happy with the result. Now all we need to do is take good care of it. Must brush up on my gardening skills la kot. Green thumb or not.

Finally, up on the wall

We had our family photoshoot last Ramadhan. Thanks to KC, the result turned out great, as usual. We decided to blow our favourite pictures on canvas and have it framed by Colours of Life.

Tetapi…when all are done, seperti biasa la kan, lama sungguh untuk gambar2 itu naik ke dinding.

And today, our trusted contractor was here to repair the door and some minor stuff kat rumah, sempat jugak mintak tolong depa drill lubang and gantung the canvas.

Finally!!!
